History: Renowned plastic surgeon Sir John Rowan has grown a bit weary of contemporary 60s trends, especially at a party meant for those way younger than him. But on that fateful day, a mishap involving a photographer and a falling lamp results in his beautiful fiancé getting disfigured. Desperate to restore her beauty, Rowan becomes a reluctant murderer in order to receive woman's glands for a cure...that doesn't last long without fresh glands. Worse, his targets may have connections...

Final Fate: Rowan is eventually confronted by several suspicious people, and soon, his wife frantically turns on a surgical laser to try and kill them. An insane power struggle ensues with the group kicking and screaming at each other as the laser burns them and the room alive. Rowan dies as well...or does he? As it turns out, this whole film was a flight of fancy he had at the party. Or a vision, seeing how the photographer from it comes over to see his wife...

Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-Rowan didn't even want to kill anybody, but he's off his rocker when he does. Seriously, if I wanted to see Cushing's psychotic face shoved into mine several times at a rapid pace, I would have asked. Sheesh.
Trivia: -There is no one true version of this film. Due to the graphic content, several countries received versions with some scenes completely different based on their standards.
-According to Cushing, making this film was worth it, yet tumultuous, as no one could agree about what was going into the final cut or not due to how extreme it was for the time.
